Overview
The World Patient Safety Day, which falls every September 17, calls for global solidarity and concerted action by all countries and international partners to improve patient safety.
World Patient Safety Day was launched in 2019 to enhance global understanding of patient safety, increase public involvement in safe health care, and promote global actions to enhance patient safety and reduce harm thereto.
Objectives:
Promote global understanding of patient safety.
Increase public participation in health care safety.
Promote global action to prevent and reduce avoidable harm in healthcare.
Hopefully, the Spanish communities will involve us in local health care safety, which covers the Patient Safety Day objectives to benefit all.
